KAPHAJ DIET

Kapha Diet:
Beans:
Eat More:Mung beans, tofu, lentils
Eat Less:Kidney beans, chickpeas
Beverages:
Eat More:Warm drinks, herbal and spice teas, fruit and vegetable juice
Eat Less:Carbonated drinks, cold or iced drinks, coffee, tea, alcohol
Dairy:

Eat More:Skim milk, buttermilk, goat milk
Eat Less:Most dairy products
Fruits:
Eat More:Apples, apricots, pears, berries, cherries, peaches, dried fruits, cranberries, papaya, pomegranate
Eat Less:Banana, citrus, coconut, dates, figs, grapes, mangoes, melons, pineapple, plums, rhubarb, strawberries
Grains:

Eat More:Barley, corn, rye, millet, buckwheat
Eat Less:Oats, rice, wheat, pasta
Herbs & Spices:
Eat More:All spices
Eat Less:Salt
Nuts & Seeds:
Eat More:Sunflower and pumpkin seeds
Eat Less:All nuts, sesame seeds
Oils:
Eat More:Corn, sunflower, mustard.
Eat Less:Most oils
Vegetables:
Eat More:Asparagus, beets, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, celery, eggplant, lettuce, peas, bell peppers, radish, spinach, zucchini.
